Printed Text: Ann Hathaway's Cottage is situated at Shottery about one mile from Stratford. This is a old farmhouse where Anne Hathaway, who in 1582 was married to Shakespeare, lived when she was only a child. They had nine children. Anne outlived Shakespeare by seven years, Trinity Church.
