Seller's Description

This postcard features the 'Indian Walk' Monument in Wrightstown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The monument marks the starting point of the 1737 'Walking Purchase,' a controversial land deal between the Penn family and the Lenape Indians. The publisher is identified on the front as Chas. R. Arnold of Ivyland, PA, from the 'Bucks County (Pa.) Views' series, number 6. This is an original, unposted Divided Back era (c. 1907-1915) postcard. The card is in good condition with minor corner wear.
