Lewis Island

Lewis Island in the Delaware River, home of the Lewis Fishery — the last licensed haul-seine shad fishery on the Delaware, run by the Lewis family since 1888 (the fishery dates to c. 1771). Reached by the wooden footbridge at Coryell Street and Lambert Lane.
